Disinfectant & Detergent Wipes

Using the right nonwoven base for your disinfectant and detergent wipes is critical for ensuring product performance. Warren Nonwovens can work with you to engineer a compatible material for your wet wipe solution. Weights can be adjusted and material construction, emboss, or patterns designed to suit the mechanical cleaning application. Fibre blends are available from Polyester, Polypropylene, Viscose, Cotton and Nylon. Hydrophilic and hydrophobic, finishes are available along with non-ionic and anionic fibres.

Introducing Fosshield® Technology

Fosshield® is a safe and effective antimicrobial solution for many healthcare applications, including scrubs, privacy curtains, linens, and medical devices.

Fosshield® is used in the FDA cleared SpectraShield™ 9500 N95 surgical respirator mask. FOSSHIELD® was found to be safe when used in the breathing zone (off-gassing) and against the skin (non-transdermal). It is a non-chemical, non-leaching technology whose incorporation in the SpectraShield™ surgical respirator mask was a critical element in achieving this unique FDA cleared medical device. Studies have shown that the respirator surfaces treated with Fosshield® antimicrobial can reduce the amount of certain odour-causing bacteria by 99.99% after just one hour of contact with the treated surfaces.

Hand Towel Fabrics

For use in toilets, washrooms and theatre / operating packs. Our super-absorbent products ensure that hands are dried quickly and thoroughly, which is an important factor in hand hygiene. Studies have shown that hand towels are an effective alternative to hot air driers and help reduce the amount of airborne cross contamination. Our quick drying products will help ensure that the least amount of towels are used. We have maceratable options and flushable options to help avoid costly waste water blockages.

Wound Care & Dressings

Nonwovens offer a performance alternative to traditional woven textiles with a lower cost base allowing for single use disposable products which lessen the risk of contamination. They are particularly suited to wound care both implantable and non-implantable, ostomy and cannula dressings, plasters and medical tapes. Across the different nonwoven technologies materials range in weight from 12gsm-1000gsm. Material construction and fibre types can be individually designed to suit specific wound management criteria. Fibre polymers both synthetic and natural allow the fine tuning of absorbency and capillary action. Mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elongation can be adjusted as required.

Feminine Hygiene & Adult Incontinence

Acquisition distribution layers and top sheet materials are available for feminine hygiene and adult incontinence products. Through air bonded, thermobonded and spunlaced materials are all available. PE/PP/PET and bi-component fibres can be custom blended to your requirements for softness, bulk, absorbency, strike through and rewet.
